Deaconess Abundant Life Services Marks 10 Years of Providing In-Home Care to Seniors
Concord, MA, September 24, 2024–Deaconess Abundant Life Services (DALS), a not-for-profit, clinician-led home care agency, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this fall. Established by Deaconess Abundant Life Communities, a historic provider of senior residential and healthcare services, DALS was created to support seniors wishing to remain in their homes. Over the past decade, DALS has reached over 1,200 clients across 25 towns and provided over 1.9 million hours of client-centered care.
DALS offers a range of services including companionship, memory care, housekeeping, personal care assistance, assistance with transitions of care to home from hospital, transportation, and end-of-life support. Services are part of a care plan created by DALS’s dedicated nurse care-managers and are tailored to individual needs.
Notably, Tori Taylor, DALS Executive Director with over 30 years of experience in senior care, has been an integral part of the team. Reflecting on the agency’s milestone, Tori stated, “I am proud to be part of a not-for-profit organization that prioritizes excellence in care for both our clients and our caregivers. We are an organization lead by clinicians with over a combined 100 years in senior care. Our nurses are the integral piece of the puzzle in supporting our clients, their families and our caregivers to ensure that the care we provide exceeds expectations.”
A DALS client, Lori P., shared her experience, “I want to thank you for taking such good care of us over the past 4 years. I always knew [my husband] was in great, caring hands while a DALS aide was by his side.”
As the organization celebrates this anniversary, it is also looking ahead. DALS plans to explore new service areas and leverage technology to better meet the continuously evolving needs of seniors looking to age in place in their homes.
